Campus College Education
Considering a campus college education?
Not sure if an online degree is right for you?
Trying to decide between an online degree and a campus program? We can help!
The first thing you need to understand is that there is no right answer to the question: “What is better, an online degree or a campus degree”. There is no right answer because the question itself is bad. The question should really be “What is better FOR ME, an online degree or a campus college program”.
Think Before You Chose
An online degree program may not be for you if:
• You have a hard time staying motivated
• You are not very self-disciplined
• You are easily distracted
• You have a hard time being productive at home
• You like to socialize and don’t like being alone
• You have time to attend a scheduled class
• School facilities are very important to you
If you recognize yourself in most, or all of the items listed above, a campus college education may be a better fit for you. A more traditional approach to education may better align with your needs and learning style.
You can always take a couple of online classes while enrolled in a campus program to test the waters and determine if you like this method of instruction and interaction. As your life situation changes and flexibility becomes more important than social interaction, you may decide to switch to an online model of study altogether. Or you may find that the campus model is exactly what you were looking for. Either way, the ultimate goal is obtaining a degree, online or in a campus.
